How to Join

So, how do I join?

Come out to one of our rides and get to know us. We meet at least twice per week during the riding season. If you are comfortable riding with us and we feel the same about you, then we'd be happy to consider you as a member. You can find out more by sending an email to reggett@rogers.com.

Should you decide to join the ACRC, you need a current member to serve as your sponsor for thirty days. After the thirty day period, the chapter officers will determine your suitability for promotion to a full membership.

If you do not know a member that can act as your sponsor, one of the club officers will be happy to fulfill this role.

How much does it cost to join the ACRC?

In the ACRC there are no membership fees ever. Non-riding family members / passengers are welcome to join rides and/or events.

We do however have a 30 day waiting period before you can become a full member just to make sure you like what we're about.

Is there a minimum cc size motorcycle?

All motorcycle makes and models are welcome however; your bike must be legally registered, fully insured, and roadworthy. With regards to engine size, we simply require that your bike meets provincial road and highway requirements and is capable of maintaining posted highway speeds.

Do I need a full motorcycle license to join?

As long as your license does not restrict you to limited speeds, certain roads and highways, or restrict you from operating a motorcycle after dark, any class of motorcycle license is acceptable.

Are there any restrictions?

Yes, we are an alcohol and drug free club. This means that no alcoholic beverages are to be consumed during group rides. Other than that, we just ask everyone to exercise common sense and respect towards their fellow riders for the safety and enjoyment of all.
